Steps that will guide you to be a chess master

To become a master of any given subject, the first step is the most important step of the process. Whether it is something that is easy or hard the basics are the most important step. It is the root that helps development in any skill.

My History with Chess

I am a chess teacher for more than 4 years, you can see my picture on the right side on the "Steps that will guide you" page. I started teaching chess to teenagers my age to adults that are more than 50 years old. I have taught over 300 students how to play chess and have allowed them to have a passion for the game. Chess isn't only a game, it is a lifestyle that teaches us to think and become smarter than our surroundings. Like Kobe Bryant said, "These young guys are playing checkers. I'm out here playing chess"

Start to a legacy

In the first 4 videos, the basics of chess will be explained and taught. This will be the building step to start our chess journey. Such things as how to place your pieces on the board, how pieces move, the importance of each piece, the rules, and the point system.

Learning the flow of the Game

The second part of the course will be learning the flow of the game. This includes how we checkmate our opponent, how we can become more dominant in the game, and how we can develop our pieces. Lessons will be longer and having quizzes will be more frequent as learning these concepts really assists our knowledge of the game. There will be checkmate puzzle videos which will be a very slight introduction to the intermediate course, as the checkmate in 1 move and 2 moves develops our visionary skills on the board. It helps us calculate our opponent's responses when we move our pieces closer to checkmate.

Review from a student that completed the course

"A really nice course! I loved it. I have learned so much from it and made me more confident with my newly acquired chess skills" - Salah Shaito

My experience with the Teacher

"I took many chess classes and taught many people. I taught more than 1000 people and learned from many in the process. I played with a lot of my students and mentors such as Hakan. But comparing Hakan with other mentors, he is an outstanding teacher with many capabilities and has an incredible relationship with his students. He does everything in order to help his students understand the game of chess. Him being a teenager and teaching chess is a very rare scenario when it comes to today's world, he is capable of separating himself from other teachers that teach chess. With his experience with many countless students, I was very excited to hear that he launched his first course online to countless students around the world. I believe his new online students will fall in amazement at how sympathetic he teaches the game that I love"
